Management has open communication and frequent engagement with employees through the Digital Announcement Boards and the Community Chatter group in Salesforce. Here, employees and leaders can give shout-outs, assign tasks, and make announcements to provide an open line of communication throughout the company.
To boost morale, Concept holds employee appreciation events like waffle bars, ice cream socials, giveaways, hot chocolate/coffee bars, and donut Thursdays. These are a great opportunity for management teams to reward hard work and remain visible for all workers. The company also holds an annual karaoke competition for a fun way to relax and make new friends.
Individuals become eligible for benefits after their first full month of employment at Concept. Benefits include competitive wages, medical insurance, vision and dental coverage, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and PTO, among others. After one year, workers become eligible for 401(k) plans with company match.
The company also provides a welcoming environment that encourages growth and happiness. Concept’s new facility has several open community spaces with gaming systems and comfortable furniture, as well as an indoor walking path to promote healthy habits. Management frequently holds team building events like employee-led yoga breaks and happy hours.
Concept’s rigorous paid, on-site training process ensures employee success while offering help with professional development. The company’s training department provides ongoing help as new employees adjust.
Concept’s open-door policy has kept company operations running smoothly and prevented any major miscommunications between management and staff. Because employees receive recognition and praise for their work, they feel a greater sense of pride in their accomplishments and position within the company. Even though Concept has experienced exponential growth in the last couple of years, the family-oriented workplace values remain the same.
Concept also stresses the idea of employees supporting locals as well as their co-workers. Quarterly volunteering events allow them to better connect with each other and their community. Fundraisers for workers going through difficult times have contributed to employee morale. Two separate events helped raise money through donations and raffles for individuals and their families dealing with medical issues.
