What is CRM Consulting?
CRM consulting is a professional service that helps a business choose, configure, integrate, and adopt a CRM platform. A CRM consultant audits your existing sales and marketing process, maps it to the right system, migrates your data, builds the automation and trains the team that has to live in it every day.
The work usually breaks into five areas: selection (which CRM), implementation (building it), migration (moving your data), integration (connecting it to your other systems), and enablement (getting people to use it). Most engagements fail at the last one which is why adoption, not configuration, is the metric that matters.
What Does a CRM Consultant Do?
A CRM consultant translates how your business actually sells into how the software is configured. In practice that means running discovery workshops with your sales and marketing leaders, documenting your pipeline stages and handoffs, defining the data model, building the workflows and reports, cleaning and migrating legacy records, connecting the CRM to your ERP or quoting tools, and training users until the system is the path of least resistance rather than an extra admin step.
Our position
Why Platform-Neutral CRM Consulting Matters.
Concept is one of a small number of firms that holds partner status with HubSpot (Diamond tier), Salesforce and Attio simultaneously. We are commercially able to recommend any of the three or tell you to stay on what you have and fix the process instead.
What that changes for you
-
The Selection Is Evidence-Led
We score your requirements against all three platforms rather than defending one.
-
Migration Is Not a Threat
If HubSpot is wrong for you in three years, we’re the same team that moves you — we run Salesforce to HubSpot and HubSpot to Attio migrations routinely.
-
Integration Is Native, Not Bolted On
We build and maintain the Salesforce and HubSpot integration for clients running both.
-
No Licence Markup Pressure
Our incentive is the engagement, not the seat count.

What we do
What Our CRM Consulting Services Include.
-
CRM Selection & Strategy
We score your requirements against HubSpot, Salesforce and Attio and give you a written recommendation with the reasoning shown. If the answer is “keep what you have,” we’ll tell you.
-
CRM Implementation
Full build: data model, pipeline stages, properties, workflows, quoting, dashboards and permissions — configured to your process, not a template.
-
Data Migration
We audit, dedupe and clean your existing records before they move. Migration is the moment to fix your data, not to inherit the mess.
-
Systems Integration
ERP, quoting, e-commerce and finance connections. We build and maintain Salesforce and HubSpot, Shopify and custom API integrations.
-
Training & Adoption
Role-based training delivered by a HubSpot Certified Trainer, plus documentation your team will open. Adoption is the deliverable.
-
Managed CRM Administration
Ongoing admin, optimization and reporting for teams without a dedicated in-house CRM owner.
The engagement
How a CRM implementation works.
A well-run CRM implementation takes 4 to 12 weeks for a mid-market B2B company on HubSpot or Attio, and 3 to 9 months on Salesforce. Here is the sequence we follow.
-
01
Discovery and Process Mapping
We interview your sales, marketing and service leads and document how revenue actually moves through your business today — including the spreadsheets and workarounds nobody admits to.
-
02
Platform Selection
We score your requirements against each CRM and deliver a written recommendation. If you have already chosen, we pressure-test the decision before you spend money on it.
-
03
Data Audit and Cleansing
We profile your existing records for duplicates, gaps and dead accounts. You approve what moves and what gets archived.
-
04
Build and Configuration
Objects, properties, pipelines, automation, quoting, permissions and dashboards — built against the process map from step one.
-
05
Integration
We connect the CRM to your ERP, quoting tool, website and finance stack, then test the data flow in both directions before go-live.
-
06
Migration and Go-Live
Data moves, we run parallel checks, and the system opens to users on a fixed date.
-
07
Training and Adoption
Role-based sessions for reps, managers and admins, plus a 30/60/90-day check-in cadence to catch drift early.
What good looks like at 90 days
Every open deal lives in the CRM, forecasts come out of the system rather than a spreadsheet, and no rep has asked for their old process back.

Proof
Three engagements, three numbers.
Every engagement below started with a process problem, not a software problem.
-
Hodge · Material handling
Credit applications and demo requests ran on paper, with no shared view of inventory across five states. We rebuilt those processes in Salesforce and added territory management and a used-equipment tool.
Result: 97% of projects delivered within budget.

Greenfiber · Building Products Manufacturing
A stalled Sage-to-HubSpot integration left territory teams without order visibility. We brought in a specialist integration partner and re-architected the data flow.
Result: 2 Months to accurate invoice and sales order data flowing into HubSpot.

Answers
Questions we get asked.
01
How long does a CRM implementation take?
Most builds run six to twelve weeks, depending on how many systems we are connecting and how clean the data is coming in.
02
Should I choose HubSpot, Salesforce or Attio?
Choose HubSpot if you want marketing, sales and service on one platform and need to be live this quarter. Choose Salesforce if your sales process is complex enough that no standard model fits. Choose Attio if your team is small, fast-moving and wants a flexible, data-native CRM. But our CRM constants can help you select which CRM is right for you.
03
What does onboarding actually include?
Configuration, data migration, integrations, reporting and training for the people who have to use it every day.
04
Can you take over a CRM someone else set up?
Often. We start with an audit so you get a clear picture of what is worth keeping before anyone rebuilds anything.
